AREAS OF COMPETITION

ABOUT

Casual wear is the time for the participant to be wear a “dressy” casual outfit. This includes shorts, pants, skirts or a casual dress (NO SWIMSUITS OR COSTUMES). During Casual Wear, each contestant  will introduce herself at the microphone giving her name, age and hometown. We follow a very simple modeling routine, ensuring each participant the same amount of time onstage. Note: Routines, waving, blowing kisses, etc. are not appropriate for this type of pageant.

For Teen and Woman Divisions (13-26 years) full length formal gowns are required. Girls age 12 and under should wear a simple, Sunday-type dress, no longer than the knee. "Pageant dresses" are not appropriate for Cinderella Pageant children's age divisions. Her party dress, for example, should be something that she would ACTUALLY WEAR to an event such as a wedding, a church event or Easter-type pictures. Naturally, garments chosen should be in good taste and appropriate for the participant’s age. Cinderella Pageants were not designed to be a “clothes show” and your pageant wardrobe should be kept simple and appropriate for your age group.
